As a creative and design professional with 10 years of experience, my work is situated at the intersection of research, strategy, craft, and visual design. I help companies and organizations build innovative, human-centered, products, services, and experiences. Prior to running an independent studio, I worked at IDEO where I helped to design innovative products for global clients.

As an outspoken advocate for accessibility, equity, and inclusiveness, I work on products and services in collaboration with companies and organizations committed to improving people's and the planet's lives.

In addition to design, I am a professional sailor (currently landlocked). I have sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge over 300 times and spent 6 months at sea in the South Pacific sailing from Tahiti to Tonga on a boat named Otra Vida.

I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I studied at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design studio arts. I cut my design teeth in Cambridge, MA, and fell back in love with the Pacific in beautiful San Francisco, CA. I am currently available for freelance work globally and am open to full-time opportunities.
