Project Background

Jason Rissman, Managing Director of IDEO, was embarking on launching Invested in Climate, a podcast that features conversations with leading experts in the climate industry, with the goal of helping listeners identify investment opportunities, activism, and lifestyle changes that support climate action. He wanted a brand for the initiative.

The Ask

Design a brand and brand system for a podcast created for an audience eager to address climate change.

The Output

A bold, engaging, and accessible brand was designed to inspire people and drive them into action. Additionally, a brand system and standards guide was been created to ensure consistency in messaging across marketing campaigns, the website, and listener platforms. An MVP website to serve as a north star for the development team.

The Outcome

Since its launch in 2022, Invested in Climate has experienced significant growth across multiple metrics. The show has over 10,000 listeners, a rapidly growing subscriber base, and an engaged audience, indicating that the Invested in Climate brand is resonating well with its target audience and helping increase reach and online visibility. Additionally, the podcast has achieved top-ranking status in both the Career and Finance categories on GoodPods.
